Pool View Lodge

 The outside porch leads into the modern, brightly decorated lounge/kitchen/dining room fitted with luxury carpet flooring. Double glass doors lead to an extensive decking equipped with patio furniture overlooking the swimming pool. It’s a perfect place to enjoy morning tea in the sun.

The 6-seater hot tub is the ultimate relaxation spot to be enjoyed by our guests. It is conveniently located on the lodge decking and shielded by a privacy screen.

The stylishly-furnished lounge is warm and cosy with, an electric fireplace, a coffee table, and a couple of comfortable sofas with scattered cushions. There is a wall mounted and free wireless broadband.

The fully-equipped kitchen offers an integrated dishwasher, a washing machine, a microwave, a kettle, an oven, stainless steel cooker extractor, a four-burner gas hob, and a fridge freezer. The dining area includes a large oval table with six chairs and is set by a large window letting in a lot of light.  Having multiple large windows around the lounge/diner area brings that spacious airy feel to the lodge.

The luxurious master bedroom features a double bed, a bedside unit, and a wardrobe. Off the main bedroom, you will find an ensuite shower-room. There is also a TV on the wall.

The second bedroom features two superbly comfortable 3ft single beds, a bedside unit, and a TV on the wall. The third bedroom includes two 2ft single beds, bedside units and a TV on the wall. Fresh bed linen is supplied for your stay, allowing you to have the most relaxing sleep during your time away.

The main bathroom has a shower, a vanity mirror, a toilet, a washbasin, and a chrome towel rail. Fresh luxury hand and bath towels are provided for all guests upon arrival.

Set in 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside and within a driving distance from the seaside, Pool View Lodge is the perfect self-catering holiday rental.  It is ideal for a romantic short break or a fun-filled family holiday and is maintained to the highest standards. 

The lodge is located within Haulfryn’s Finlake Resort & Spa, across 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside. The lodge overlooks the outdoor pool, the Hub and the Sirona spa. The resort is based on the doorstep of the stunning Dartmoor National Park.  The nearest beach (English Riviera) is also only a short drive away (approx. 25 min). The on-site leisure complex offers a heated indoor and outdoor pool with water flumes, an adventure playground, a luxury spa, and a fitness centre. Various on-site group activities for all ages are available for booking at the resort, as are the tennis and basketball courts. The two on-site coarse fishing lakes are full of bream, roach, dace, large crucian carp and perch. The on-site café and the Retreat (Sports Bar & Restaurant) serve lovely breakfasts, lunches and dinners. In the evenings you can also enjoy a game of pool or occasional guest singers.  

The resort, owned and managed by Haulfryn Group Limited, offers a fabulous leisure complex with a heated indoor waterpark/pool, an excellent fitness centre, a well-equipped gym, a sauna, and a steam room. Furthermore, onsite group activities for all ages and abilities (e.g. archery, aeroball, Segway safari, axe throwing) are available on the resort site. Why not try something new or adventurous (e.g. sea scooters, fencing) Or maybe have a game of tennis or golf at the local golf course? Our guests are also welcome to visit the luxury on-site Sirona Spa. It is the perfect place to relax, rewind and reset.  

Children will love the outdoor pool with a water slide and a splash area for toddlers during the summer months. Similarly, the onsite adventure park, nature trails, tennis courts, coarse fishing lakes and horse riding provide sporting opportunities for everyone. 

The onsite Retreat Bar and Restaurant serves lunch and à la carte evening meals. Similarly, the Hub offers breakfast, light bites and an extensive takeaway menu for the guests to enjoy freshly cooked food in the comfort of their own accommodation.
