The modern wooden table and four chairs in the dining area sit beside a glazed window, allowing natural light to flow in, creating an airy ambiance.

The lounge, accessed through another door, is furnished with a cosy settee, a couple of comfortable armchairs, and a free-standing 42-inch smart screen TV with Freeview, a Playstation 4 with games and an array of DVDs. Take pleasure in reading books, playing games, solving jigsaws, and engaging in card games stored in the lounge. The electric fireplace adds a touch of warmth and ambiance.

The double glass doors open to an extensive decking area with a wooden patio table and four chairs, creating the perfect setting for enjoying a morning drink in the sun, with distance views of the local Dartmoor Countryside..

The lodge is located within Haulfryn’s Finlake Resort & Spa, and set across 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside. It is right on the doorstep of Dartmoor National Park and only a short drive away from the seaside (English Riviera). The on-site leisure complex offers a heated indoor and outdoor pool with water flumes, an adventure playground, a luxury spa, and a fitness centre. Various on-site group activities for all ages are available for booking at the resort, and so are the tennis and basketball courts. The two on-site coarse fishing lakes are full of bream, roach, dace, large crucian carp and perch. The on-site café and the Retreat (Sports Bar & Restaurant) serve lovely breakfasts, lunches and dinners. In the evenings you can also enjoy a game of pool or occasional guest singers.  

The resort, owned and managed by Haulfryn Group Limited, offers a fabulous leisure complex with a heated indoor waterpark/pool, excellent fitness centre, well-equipped gym, sauna, and steam room.
